Looks like something that a Civil War camp or prospectors camp would have. We think it was probably used during the 1800s but not sure beyond that.
Measures over 11" tall & the bottom is 7 1/2 inches in diameter. There is a small hole near the bottom & it looks like other small holes were mended over time.
Condition
Shows normal evidence of use, wear & age ~ Good Condition.
