Closed, it measures 17.5" tall by 3 feet long by 20" wide. Opened it measures twice as wide.
The top folds out & turns on the base to make it twice as large. The inside part that you will see when it opens needs some stain. Maybe a little steel wool to clean it up. When it's open it's just wood, not leather.
Probably dates from the 1st half of the 1900s.
