The shortest it can be is 45" and adjusts up to 60". The top double music stand lifts off. There's a crude repair that could be redone or left as is. The shaft that music holders turns on shows lots of wear (that's a good thing). There is a great iron spider repair on the bottom (see photos). This will make the piece sturdy for many more years.
