Looks like the pieces are made of bone & wood, possibly bamboo. We're thinking first half of the 1900s, possibly the first quarter. Box measures 9". The rectangular pieces are about 1.5" long. The skinny pieces are 3.25" long. Seems to be in good condition. We're not sure if the set is complete or not.
