These held more flammable pine cones or reeds to that would help light up the room better than just the fireplace. These have interesting twists & decorative swirls. Probably date from the 1700s. Measure 22" tall by 21" deep. We found these in The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Condition
Shows normal evidence of use, wear & age ~ Good Condition. We always recommend checking these items out in person before you bid.
