Could also be used a server or work table. Its top has scratches on it otherwise it is in good shape. It is all solid wood. Looks like mahogany or burl walnut. We're thinking late 1800s or early 1900s because it is just a little too crisp to be late 1700s & the nails aren't early. the drawers are hand dovetailed & the drawer bottoms are hand chamfered. Let's call it an antique  bench made centennial piece. 

Measures 29.5" tall by 35" wide by 20.5" deep.
