Measures 10.5" in diameter by about 7.5" tall. Was originally patented in 1851 & the patent was reissued in 1866 (Stamped on the bottom). This pail is for decorative use. Would be fine for kindling or a planter. etc. The bottom is fine but the sides have cracks that would let water leak out. The other pail that we listed is similar but it doesn't have this condition.
