We think the cannon itself is 18th Century. The mounting is more recent. The consignor said that it sounds like a real canon & it shoots back & the spring catches it.
The cannon itself is cast iron measures about 9" long the recoil stand measures 22.5" long.
Obviously, we don't recommend shooting this cannon.

Shows normal evidence of use, wear & age ~ Good Condition. We always recommend checking these items out in person before you bid.
